May 6, 2011: T-16 hours. The wheather report brightened up some. It will be nice and warm in the morning, maybe a few showers in the PM, so we are looking forward to a nice day. The Trophies are ready. Good luck and a safe trip to all.
May 4, 2011: During the break, we will have liquid-nitrogen ice cream for dessert (by Eric Paradis, Kevin Anderson).
May 4, 2011: From our sponsors, listed here, we have received additional laboratory prizes for the fist, second and third-place schools, and gift certificates. For a list of prizes, check the Awards page.
April 25, 2011: As a special bonus for Olympiad patrons, we will have several exhibit stations on display that explain concepts of energy efficiency and energy transport. These exhibits, designed and built by the Ann Arbor Hands On Museum, will be placed near the registration area and will allow for self- guided experimentation. Olympiad volunteers will provide explanations and interpretations as needed.
March 26, 2011: Eleven teams from seven schools have registered so far. We are glad to see registrations from returning schools, as well as several schools attending for the first time - Welcome! Spread the word ... it is not too late to register.

The 2011 Michigan Physics Olympiad will take place on Saturday, May 7^th.

The registration is open. Registration deadline: Friday, April 22^nd, 2011. To register, please follow the Registration link on the left. Registration may be cut off early if our facilities limit is reached.
